Join me in the BUZZebo for the BEST, most unique experience in Atlanta as we take a bee-hind the scenes look at a thriving honeybee hive! Before suiting up in real beekeeper suits, we’ll begin this edutaining agritourism event with a brief intro of all that we expect to see inside the hive (spoiler alert: lots of bees!). I’ll perform a thorough safety check and then it’s off to the apiary! We’ll geek out as we get an up close look at how honeybees team up to rear young, turn nectar into honey, and tend to Her Majesty, The Queen. Your hands-on participation is highly encouraged and I’ll pass off frames of bees to the participation-inclined, while teaching you to spot pollen, nectar, and developing bees, with plenty of time along the way for photo-ops! Finally, it’s time to put your honey where your mouth is and embark on a sampling flight of NINE different honeys, including our own Sneaky Bee wildflower honey! Take your palate on a wild ride as we talk through the flavor profiles, origins, and chemical composition of the sweetest gift from the hive! All of this takes place in the Tucker Nature Preserve’s beautiful, new Bee Habitat. You can enjoy picnic areas, miles of gentle hiking trails, and a fledgling wildflower meadow

Atlanta Bee Experience

It is said that bees enjoy a secret life, but there is a fascinating story behind that life that should be made available for all to witness! Join us for a "Bee incredible" journey, as we explore the work of Apiarists (Beekeepers). You will be guided on a 1.5 to 2 hour tour (depending on the size of the group) encompassing the miraculous work of bees. Bees undertake the extraordinary important job of helping to mature and grow many of the plants we enjoy and providing a food source - honey - that is globally consumed and universally loved. If you're feeling exceptionally brave, you can don a full protective gear and open a bee hive for a closer look into the habitat of bees, the Brood Box (nest). Observe the Queen bee laying eggs, while learning about the unique roles and responsibilities of drone and worker bees. You'll be able to taste the honeycomb (if available) and sample sweet honey from the source; which has been used for centuries for its naturopathic or medicinal purposes. This tasty, unique and exceptionally enlightening experience in beekeeping is a can't miss opportunity for nature enthusiasts and is appropriate and entertaining for all guests ages 8 and up. If you have a large group and need a special date and time, please send a special request. I am consistently listed as 1 of the top 3 Experiences in Metro Atlanta. You will not be disappointed. Other things to note All participants will need to sign a waiver of risk before the Bee Experience. Starting October 1, 2019 through Spring of 202, all reservations will be subject to weather conditions. If the temperature is below 55° F or raining, the Bee Experience will be cancelled and rescheduled.

For this photo session we will meet at one of the many beautiful parks in Metro Atlanta- Piedmont Park, Vine City Water Park, Fourth Ward Park, Atlantic Station or Little 5 and spend 1 hour together creating a magical photo shoot for you. With our experience and knowledge, you will quickly be at ease in front of the camera as we capture the moment for you. I will be using my Canon Series w/ Wi-Fi- allowing you to receive instant downloads. Following your session- you will receive professionally edited, high resolution photos of your experience. Candle Making In Atlanta

You'll meet at the location and come in for a drink (BYOB also available) and have a seat at the candle making table. Your instructor will begin teaching you how the make a soy candle in an 8oz tin. After choosing your scents and creating a custom scent, you will then choose crystal chips to add to the top. Your candle must sit for a hour before departing with it. At that time you can browse and shop our store and take pictures on our backdrop or chill out in the lounge enjoying complimentary snacks. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign your consent waiver

Five Hour Atlanta Bus Tour

There is so much to see in Atlanta so I will take you to the must see locations and put them into a 5 hour tour. Prior to our first stop you will see the famous Jackson St Bridge which is infamous from "The Walking Dead." The first stop will be a guided tour at the Martin Luther King Historical Memorial Site for 45 minutes. You will visit the tomb of Dr. and Mrs. King, The Eternal Flame, Freedom Hall, Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church and you will see Dr. Kings birth home. Next you will visit Krog St Market and then take a glimpse of the future of Atlanta by walking on the Atlanta Beltline. Be prepared to take lots of photos on the Beltline. After walking the Beltline you will see Inman Park and Little 5 Points, Atlanta’s hippest neighborhood. Then you will visit Ponce City Market. Afterwards you will see the homes of the rich and famous in Buckhead. Learn about the famous people living in Buckhead that you will only find on this tour. After leaving Buckhead we will ride on Peachtree St and see the High Museum of Art, Margaret Mitchell House, Fox Theatre, CNN Center and so much more! Other things to note This is a 5 Hour Atlanta Tour from 9am - 2pm. You will be inside a covered bus and we will get off the bus several times to see different sites on your guided tour of Atlanta. If you do not feel like walking you can stay on the bus. We have a lunch stop on your tour

Atlanta Spray 'n' Sip- Aerosol & Street Art Workshop

1. Guests join us at our Studio WIP space and dive into the world of spray paint & urban art. All instruction is done by local artists. Each guest will go home with their own piece of artwork. 2. Upon entering guests can enjoy our ever changing gallery. Feel free to bring a beverage, it’s BYOB! This interactive workshop will turn guests into the artist & be guided along the way. Experimenting with lettering, stencils, aerosol & cap technique guests will experience something truly unique. 3. Our main objective is to break down stereotypes that often are connected with spray paint. Guests will leave with curiosity and basic aerosol skills to boot.

Hands-on and Immersive Alpaca Experience

When you arrive, you will be welcomed by our family and our herd of sweet and fluffy Huacaya Alpacas. We will provide a brief overview of the farm rules and steps to have the most amazing experience. We will then share our story about how we traded in business suits for muck boots and flannels and realized our dream of starting an Alpaca farm and sharing these amazing animals with our local community and beyond. Next we will provide a little education on the history of Alpacas, what a typical day looks like for the herd and some interesting facts about the animals in general. We will then give guests a bowl of grain and alfalfa hay and let everyone hand-feed or bowl feed the animals of your choice. If you’re more adventurous, you can put a bit of alfalfa hay in between your teeth and get a kiss from a member of the herd! Next we will let you roam with the alpacas in the pasture where you can be amongst them, take pictures of the beautiful scenery and soak in the fresh air and nature. And to end it all, we will take pictures of your group with the Alpacas and give you time to browse our farm store that is made up of items made from the fiber of the Alpacas. **We are a working farm so please be reminded to dress appropriately. Shoes or boots that you don’t mind getting a little dirty are recommended. If it happens to rain, we have a large barn and a patio.

Each session or project should take 15 to 25 minutes each. I also give a safety talk . Each person will make one project. Everyone will need make the same project unless specially requested . The entirety of the class will be no longer than an hour and a half
